A corny, but incredibly funny video of how the Internet and networking works from the Ericsson MediaLab. The video was made in the late 90s using pretty rudimentary computer animation, but for any tech head, that matters not. The Router, with his collision-prone tendencies, will make you chuckle. Those pesky AppleTalk packets will slow down your network. And beware the Pings of Death! I just found the video on my hard drive in an archive folder; I think my Dad gave it to me on a CD sometime around 2000. It is not only a pretty good overview of networking terminology and functionality, but also a pretty good way to pass 12 minutes of your time.
